Marc Crain is a tour manager, audio engineer, video editor and educator currently working in Toronto.
He began his career in 1987 as a DJ and technician on campus radio at the University of Guelph and became a fixture in the local theatre and music scenes when he was still in high school. He toured with various musical acts throughout the 1990s, including hHead (Brendan Canning), Treble Charger, Furnaceface, Sarah Harmer and Sloan. A graduate of the Vancouver Film School, he was a Video Editor at Blue Highway in Toronto from 2002-2010, editing commercials for clients such as Mazda, Kraft and Labatt’s and documentaries for CBC, Bravo!, MTV Canada and the History Channel. He has worked as a FOH/TM for the artists ALVVAYS, The Sheepdogs, The New Pornographers, Lowest of the Low, Dan Mangan and Reuben and the Dark plus audio engineer for the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern, Lees Palace, The Drake Hotel, The Phoenix Concert Theatre and taught Sound Design and Video Editing at OCAD University.
